Frances Camille – Terms and Conditions

  • BOOKINGS – To secure a date, a 30% deposit is required. The deposit goes towards the total cost of the selected service/package. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled times will only be reserved when the deposit has been received.
  • PAYMENT – The final balance is due on the day of the event as one payment – no exceptions in CASH. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who reserved a spot with Frances Camille and has given the deposit fee.
  • SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS – Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup applications. A “set up” area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Ample natural lighting is necessary for services to be performed properly. A professional light can be provided, also.
  • TRAVEL FEE – Traveling fees vary from distance and location.
  • COVID-19/SICK POLICY – For my safety and for the safety of others, I have the right to refuse service if the client is experiencing flu-like symptoms, fever, sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, pink eye, or a rash. Therefore, please be mindful of the health of others.
  • CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY – Your booking is a reserved spot; security deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. However, cancellations & any changes must be made 2 days prior to your service date. Any requests for additional services after the confirmation must be submitted in writing or email. No shows for the scheduled Session will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund of the Session Fee.
  • AGREEMENT & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS – All agreements and transactions between Frances Camille and any clients are subject to these terms and conditions. All clients who reserve a makeup/photoshoot session or any other service Frances Camille agree from that point forward to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • COPYRIGHT – The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to Frances Camille. It is contrary to the Act to copy, publish, reproduce, or store images electronically unless the express permission of Frances Camille has been purchased. If permission is granted, then the transfer of the shared copyright commences only once payment for the copyright has been made in full. 
  • DISPLAY – Frances Camille reserve the right for any photograph created during any sessions to be displayed on social media, in the portfolio, or in any other advertising directly associated with Frances Camille, unless the subject expresses a wish for their image to not be displayed. The confidentiality of the client is paramount.
  • FORCE MAJEURE – Every effort will be made to carry out the contract, but its due performance is subject to alteration or cancellation by Frances Camille owing to any cause beyond their control (e.g. acts of God, change in legislation, floods, fire, computer failure, robbery, etc). In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by Frances Camille, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. 
  • LIABILITY – All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist (Frances Camille) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
  • INJURY LIABILITY – The client is liable for their own personal well-being upon the confirmation with Frances Camille. In the unlikely event that injuries to the client are suffered during the scheduled session, the photographer (Frances Camille) is in no way responsible, financially or otherwise. The client understands that they have the right to decline requests from the photographer if their well-being is in harm’s way. In addition, the client cannot hold the venue in which the session takes place responsible for any injuries that may occur during the session.
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction but is not to exceed selected makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup application upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by the client is an acknowledgment by the client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.
